Here is a photo I took the other night of the sun setting over Table Rock Lake near Cape Fair. This was on Sep 1, just as the remains of Hurricane Isaac was leaving the area after bringing almost 2 days worth of slow and steady rain.
I often have a hard time photographing sunsets because the level of contrast is so extreme between the sun and clouds and the ground, which is often dimly lit or in shadow.
