So yeah… unless you live in a box or a cave you have probably seen this breaking news that every single news organization is plastering on their most important breaking news section… lance bass.. co founder of nsync… is… GAY.

IF there is anything that annoys me more than people who smack when they eat … it’s celebrity gossip being passed off as actual news that I should care about.

So yeah i’ve been a bit on the sickly side. Nonetheless…. i still managed to hit up the creek with big mike, emily and kimc. It was about a thousand degrees outside, so it felt nice even though we had no clothes to change into. Luckily… later that night emily made the best chicken breasts i’ve ever eaten.

I knew that I would probably find some interesting things in the new house, given the fact that its about 130 years old. It was cool enough to find a laptop computer buried in one of the closets, but what Kim found the other day was even cooler. A check – for nearly $200,000 (not kidding). I have no idea what the story behind it is, but it’s fun to speculate. Either way, we found a big fatty check.

If anyone else wants to come treasure hunting at the new place, you are certainly welcome. The best way to hunt for treasure that I have found is by scraping off wallpaper. I’ll even provide the scraper. You better hurry though – it’s going fast! Any takers? You can sign up right here!

I’m still slowly readjusting… its taking longer than it did last time. So i keep going to sleep really early and being tired all the time. But all is well… I think I’m going to start moving into the new casa saturday. So anyone who wants to help clean and move stuff – you’re certainly welcome to!

So last night I was on the kiss-cam at the springfield cardinals game. At first I thought it was just random chance because we were sitting kind of by ourselves in that section. But it turns out that my friend Andy who runs the video board somehow noticed me and jessie (who he doesn’t know) sitting in the stands and thought it would be funny to have a cameraman (who happened to be his brother) put us on the spot.

I had just finished complaining about the people who are on there and just look awkwardly at each other and the camera until it moves on… so clearly sitting there doing nothing was not an option. She laughed and accused me of arranging it. I told her that while it was definitely something that I would probably do … in this case, I was pretty sure my friends were behind it.

I guess that’s what happens when you have friends in high places!

Last night Grant and I decided to have a little fun with the sasquatch costume. So he suited up and we went to the park. While I was out of view taking pics of random graffiti, a car drove by and saw grant just standing there by himself. The guy just looked out the window and said “now THAT is weird….” then his wife looked out the window, screamed and they drove off.

Then it was off to the baseball fields where Sasquatch rooted on one of the community t-ball teams. People tried not to stare and get distracted, but it’s hard not to stare when all of a sudden there is a monster in the bleachers cheering and acting like a normal person.

Since we were in the neighborhood, I dropped Grant/Sasquatch off in Kim’s yard. Her friend Michelle was over and he walked up to the kitchen door. I heard lots of screaming. It was pretty funny.

I never realized how much fun you can have with a sasquatch costume!
