Lately one of Emma’s favorite things to do is to sit at my desk and draw. She has her own set of markers and crayons at her table but of course it’s more fun to use mine. I suspect this has more to do with the allure of my office, because she knows it’s generally off limits unless I am with her.
Whenever she sees me go in there, she often drops whatever she is doing and follows. Sometimes she explores this unusual room full of random objects, but lately she just likes to sit at the desk and draw. On this particular day she used all the supplies she had available, including tape and created quite the masterpiece. Of course the most exciting part is always showing Mommy when we’re done!
I enjoy watching and helping her make her artistic creations and I’m looking forward to some day hanging out in the office and teacher her some more advanced things like oil painting and technical aspects of photography. Hopefully she will still be interested in these things at that point!
