River Livin’

emmacreek11-2Here are a few other photos from the other night. Spring is always a good time to break out one of my lesser used lenses, the macro. It’s intended to be used for ultra close-up shots, but it also is a pretty decent portrait lens as well. Being fixed at 100mm, you have to stand pretty far away, so you can really only use it for a portrait lens outside.

One of Emma’s (and mine) favorite places is this spot along the creek. Most of the time she throws rocks and sticks, but sometimes she just likes to take in the view.

Here she is studying shells and various other items in the creek and getting very dirty in the process. My little scientist! :)
