The funny thing about spring is that one day you can be outside in shorts and the next day it will be snowing. That’s kind of the case this weekend… there was a bit of sleet on my way to work today but I still have thoughts of working around the yard and picnicking by the creek fresh on my mind.
At first we thought we’d setup shop right next to the creek but decided that would be a recipe for Emma to eat nothing in lieu of throwing rocks in the water. So we picked a spot where the water was out of sight… but apparently Emma is too smart for the out of sight, out of mind mentality because she still knew the water was just over the ridge.
Nevertheless we had a great time enjoying the day outside. Now I’m looking forward to more nice days ahead!
