		<description>Ah, man. Those were rough years. Liking Katy Jordan, but not being cool enough or a rebel enough for her. I actually remember thinking that if I was good enough at trumpet, then I&#039;d get to set close to her in band, and she&#039;d somehow start liking me. Well, I made 3rd chair, and she made 2nd...but still no dice. I often wondered why, but looking back at my pictures from that era, it&#039;s no wonder why- I was a geek. I thought Brad Boman was the coolest ever- until I got to high school and realized that picking on other people for sport was only something that the Shulls did; and they weren&#039;t really liked for it at all. And that&#039;s when I started to realize that I was cooler than Brad b/c I didn&#039;t pick on people, and I started to grow.  I think if you ask most people, they all share a similar story in those Jr. High years...</description>
