It’s no secret that I am not a big fan of the hummer, as well as people who own them or think they are cool. So I can’t pass up the opportunity to make fun of this lady I saw the other day at the bank.
I was stuck behind her going into the atm lane – and just getting to the machine was a feat in its own. She had to stop and backup a few times and almost abandoned the attempt before she was confident her h2 would not hit the roof of the building. What the picture doesn’t show is that it was about 20 degrees on this particular evening. So the driver, who appears to have just finished a workout at the gym, had to stand in the arctic blasting wind while she did this transaction. Normally, I would feel bad for someone standing in the cold in such skimpy attire, but not if the reason they are cold is because their 27 ton vehicle won’t fit through the atm lane.
I think this photo does a good job at illustrating how rediculously gigantic, wasteful, and stupid these vehicles are.
