So, this last weekend was probably one of the most fun weekends I’ve had in a quite some time. Not sure if it’s because I spent the whole weekend with friends, or because we were doing fun things. Probably a little of both. I hadn’t seen Brett or Martina in quite some time, so needless to say it was a fun weekend of reuniting and catching up on the last few years. Here are a few highlights:

Ping pong was the theme of the weekend. We squeezed games in between every other activity we planned. It was a common occurrence to hear the question “do we have time for a quick game before we ______”. Of course the answer was always “yes!”.

This is yet another picture of grant being gay.

Saturday started off with some atv riding around the back 40. Just as we were about to head up to the house we accidentally ran through a huge mud puddle. Brett and I spent the next 15 minutes going through it over and over again until we were thoroughly soaked and dirty (see image below).

I took a break from all the action and headed over to show my support of Amanda Hughey and Daniel Ashley tie the knot.

Although I have no photos to prove it… later we had a cookout and went to the drive in. After we came back to my house Martina put on a (free) mini concert.

Sunday morning I started making pancakes, then delegated the chore to Martina so that I could get in a couple last games of ping pong with Brett. Brett and I were pretty evenly matched.

Sunday Brant called and invited us to go hunt for crawdads at the Jolly Mill. I had never heard of this place, but it was really cool. Although I really had no interest in eating these freshwater miniature lobsters, it was fun to try to catch them. Some of the ones we caught seemed to almost rival lobsters in size!
So that’s pretty much the story. Thanks for everyone who contributed in making this a fun and spectacular weekend.

Great pics Ryan! The weekend was a blast… except for the drive down!!
