Well I had a pretty fun weekend. Got to head back out to phoenix for some more filming for the doc. There are 2 reasons I was mainly excited about this. The first and most obvious is that I had to change planes in SLC, which as many of you may know is my favorite city. While I was only there for about 25 minutes, it was still nice to be there. The other reason is that Lee has a grapefruit tree in her backyard that she lets me raid whenever I am in town. I took lots of random pics and here they are.
One of the interesting sights was the guy trying to get away from the border patrol by running on foot across the open desert. I really have no idea where exactly he thought he was going to hide or if he was hoping to be able to run all the way into mexico (about 100 miles). I also saw lots of cool things out the airplane window, some of which I took photos of. From SLC to Phoenix I sat next to this guy who really gave me the creeps by talking about how he had bet someone $50 that our plane would crash and asking what I would do if I found out our plane was hijacked 9-11 style. Yeah, I was pretty glad to get out of there when we landed. Luckily this really cool lady from Oklahoma made up for it on the way home.
